Inocencia "Chenta" Rey

A retired educational teacher from Big Sky Country Lubbock, Texas. She earned a Bachelor of Education from Wayland Baptist University, Plainview Texas, and a Masters of Education from Texas Tech University, Lubbock, Texas. Her work is rooted in her experiences of growing up around hard working farm and ranch communities.

 

In retirement she gets involved in various special events and community organizations and programs.  Chenta’s love Art, her oil paintings were inspired from an early age. Her introduction to painting Art on canvas begin as a youth and she pursued her love of art by formally taking Art classes from Wayland Baptist University Art Department. In retirement she gets involved in various special events and community organizations and programs. She is a national and international traveler, blessed to have been exposed and seen a wide range of Art and professional Art Exhibitions, met with nationally recognized artists, visited various Art Museums and private collections. She has a love of children having work in their environment as a teacher for over 25+
years.
